Hahaha, yeah. the character sheet. I'm working on it. Seems to be something malfunctioning with that applet. Haven't figured it out yet. Guess I will in time though. I wanted to implement the sheets so that we could RP on the forum. I got the dice roller up and running, but those sheets, they must be from hell.

really, hold a session here? that sounds...neat and kinda weird. and time consuming. But infinantly better than nothing.

yeah, It might draw out in time. But we can choose between the chat, and using posts in a thread. Using the chat, things goes fast. Using the forum, things go slow, but it is not required to be online 24/7.

Yo man, we're soon at 300 posts. That's amazing, and most of them have been in the last two days.
Which is kind of saw when you think about how long this forum has been operational.
We were some lonely bastards, weren't we.

Actually we are soon up to 500 posts. And yeah, it is sad. Kind of we where lonely.

This reminds me of another forum I am a Moderator for. It has died away now unfortunately, barely any active users left. I discovered the forum in about three or four months after it was created. And I found the topics so interesting I wrote like hell. When I joined the forum had 3 - 400 Posts. By the time the forum was 6 months old, we had barely tipped 2000 posts, and I had alone over 1000 And to think of that there where no one from norway on there, that was pretty fun.

what? that's not cool man. One person shouldn't have a sixth of the posts in a forum, that's just not right.

Good god. I was just surfing on a Final fantasy forum I sometimes hang out on and I came over a walkthrough for ff12 that stated: Perfect game walkthrough.
Intrigued, I entered to see what it was about. And I was reading a bit before my jaw dropped through the floor.
Okay, before I continue, let me point out a few facts about ff12.
1: You begin the game as a single character. When the other characters join the party, they join at the original character's lvl+1 or 2, ie if the original character is lvl 10, the new ones are lvl 11 or 12.
2: levelling in ff12 is a tedious task, demanding many many hours of frustrating and boring work, i.e grinding deluxe. That is until you reach the auto-grind ability, where you use the gambits to auto-lvl. I won't explain about that, since I already ranted about it earlier.
3: Money, or gil as its called in ff12, is a shortage at the beginning. At low levels, you really have to save your gil, or you will be stuck with your beard in the mailbox.

right, knowing this, I wondered what the walkthrough could do to help with this. And it does. Through the walkthrough, I now have a way to lvl my original character to lvl 99 (max lvl) in less than two days, from lvl 1, from the fricking start. Ordinarilly, using normal means of lvling, or even the auto-lvl system, it takes weeks or even months to reach that lvl. And by the time I will have lvl my main character to insanely overpowered lvls compared to the storyline, I will have earned millions and when the others join my party, they too will be lvl overpowered.
OHMIGOD! I'm nearly drooling at the potential. The sheer possibilities.
Of course, this rapes the game. Doing the second quest of the game at lvl 99 is ridicoulus, you aren't playing for anything but complete kickass of everything and to get all the legendary gear thingys.
And this is exactly what I intend to do.
If I don't post anything tomorrow, you guys know what I'm doing.
And fartmeista, this is my suggestion for a quote:
"I'm levelling to lvl overpowered!"

G'damn... Than was pretty bad ass.. Huh, I think I should buy that game and use that walkthough.. I used 160 Hours finishing X... And, well.. I'm can't say I want to use another 160 hours of my life doing a god damn game again.

I currently have two plays on ff12, one where I just finished fighting that god damn dragon with 50 million HP. And one I just started where I intend to fully use that walkthrough.
And I just tested it. In 15 minutes, I went up ten lvls.
That's 500 % faster than usual. I can't believe how easy it was either. It will become boring in the end, but to reach my goal, it is fine.
My goal is being able to oneshot a certain dinosaur that's wandering around without any weapon, just bare fistfigthing. the dino is around lvl 30, and usually its very anoying at the stage I am on, but when I next see it, I will be so overpowered it won't know what hit it.
Hopefully.

When I had FFX I got a hold of a cheat dvd. You put in the dvd first, chose the cheat, then putin the game into the PS2, and the cheats where working,. Infinite gil, mac HP and MANA. on all characeters, incuding aeons. All stats maxed and that kind of thing. Pretty awesome if you plan on doing it again without using all your life.

whoa, I never knew something like that existed. Damn.
Another thing about the way to lvl from the walkthrough. Its a insanely efficient way to grind money.
I have about 30 000 gil(gold) now, at lvl 26, still without doing the second mission.
That's insanely much. The first playthrough, at the point I am now, I had perhaps 1500 gil at the most, IF I was lucky.
Damn, this is absolutely ridicoulus. The only problem is that the lvl trick is pretty dull, and I've fallen asleep a few times, almost dying in the process.
That would suck, grinding up twenty lvls and lots of cash then get game over because I fell asleep.
