Yay awesome, first wow post goes to the Gnerd!
Anyways, Thought I should share something that was about damn time that blizzard implemented into the game: Mounted Combat!
Simply enough you go to the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown and find a lance rack, borrow a lance and find a mount, borrow the mount, then you find other mounted warrior and whack them down!
Simply by mounting up you get new abilities on a separate (but very big) actionbar, which consists of:
1. Attack, simply striking your opponent in melee range.
2. Shield breaker, breaks enemy shield stack from ranged, making them vulnerable.
3. Charge, charges and causes massive damage from ranged, and breaks one shield stack.
4. Shield, simply puts up a shield that wards you from damage, can be up to 3 stacks.
5. Mend Mount, heals your mount back to 100% health, only usable out of combat.
6. Challenge, uses to challenge another player for mounted combat.
Sounds like fun eh? well it is! in addition to up to 5 new mounts, vanity pets, tabards and 15 new armors and weapons - you can also gain reputation and titles with factions who's cause you champion, it's too awesome.
And besides that I make an average of 120gold per day just doing the daily quests (which is notably easy and fastly completed)
